Amy originally hails from the sunny and sometimes snowy state of Colorado. Soon after moving to Seattle, she found work on stage as well as in commercials, indie films, and print. She is a graduate of Colorado State University and NW Actor’s Studio Conservatory Program. She has most recently been seen on stage in Seattle as Janet in Alfred Hitchcock’s Rope and Cynthia in A Maiden’s Prayer. Other favorite productions include Oliver, Anything Goes, Kiss Me Kate, and Sugar.

As a former Miss Colorado, Amy was proud to represent her state at the Miss America Pageant. During her year of service, Amy was the key-note speaker at over 100 events. She was the spokesperson for “Drug Free Schools” as well as taught others about the rights of (not the disabled, but rather,) the differently-abled through the program, “Kids on the Block”. Together with her puppet, “Mark” she spoke to over 30,000 school children about understanding the simple message: “We are all the same in that we are all different.”

She is currently developing her one woman show, “Surrounded by Crazy,” which has become a labor of love. The story line focuses around the life of Charlotte, who has spent her life living up to the expectations set for her by others -- which happened to be very low expectations. What happens when she realizes she is an intelligent, independent woman who is capable of so much more?

She lives and plays in Kirkland with her husband, Andrew and their dog Buddy. She keeps fit with yoga, weight lifting, downhill skiing, and dance. She also enjoys boating, traveling, and curling up… with her husband, her dog or sometimes with just a good book!
