S.A.G. and AFTRA Seattle are pleased to introduce
the newest member of our team of franchised agents - Premier Talent NW, owned and
operated by James J. Jones.
James began his career with over a decade of work
in state and federal political campaigns and with the state legislature.
His emphasis was in research, fundraising and communications with a special
emphasis in strategic and tactical planning. He spent time working in both
Washingtons - our State Legislature and our nation's Capitol.
After leaving politics, James spent a number of
years working as an executive development officer, focusing on fundraising and
communications for non-profit organizations. In addition to his role as a
talent agent, Mr. Jones is a consultant for World Vision and the Compass Center
through his consulting company, J³
Consulting.
James began his career in this industry when he
opened his professional talent management business and represented a number of
local radio and television broadcast personalities. Most recently, James,
while he always wears a bit of a "manager" hat, has officially changed his focus
to that of an agent and now represents actors working on camera, on-stage and
doing voice-over work.
Premier Talent NW's motto is "providing premier
representation for premier talent." James believes that it is his strong
emphasis of the principles of empowerment and pro-activity that make his agency
a 'premier' agency. By knowing his clients' individual needs and 'seasons
of life' he is better positioned to craft an individualized pro-active
strategic and tactical approach for each client, which in turn empowers that
client to achieve his/her goals.
James believes that his success at developing
long-term relationships with decision-makers in the field will position his
clients for success in the Seattle, Portland, (and selectively) Los Angeles
markets. James is interested in all types of talent and takes pride in
looking at all submissions that come across his desk, offering honest feedback
at all times.
