Jeanne Destro is a talented and versatile voiceover announcer, singer, writer, and producer. She owns and operates her own voiceover production company, and is available for commercial and industrial voiceover work, including podcasting.

Jeanne’s voice has been heard nationwide on in-store and on-hold messaging for prominent retailers including Nordstrom, The Sports Authority, Ace Hardware, The Children’s Place, and AEI Music. She has also done industrial projects for organizations such as the US Air Force, and NCR Corporation.

Originally from Ohio, Jeanne moved to the Seattle area in 1996. Within just a few weeks of her arrival, she began working as a weekend DJ on KMTT radio “The Mountain”, and shortly thereafter as a Music Consultant for AEI Music (which later became DMX), where she spent more than ten years creating compelling and unique custom music programming for businesses worldwide.

She also spent a number of years as a freelance music journalist; interviewing rock stars and covering major music festivals such as Bumbershoot and WOMAD for the ABC Radio Network, which broadcast her reports worldwide.

Jeanne has extensive experience on the entertainment side of the radio and music business; working as a radio DJ, Producer, and Music Director, and Music Programmer.

A talented musician, Jeanne has many years of training in piano and voice. She has performed many different styles of music; including pop, rock, blues, folk, and original compositions. Her favorite genre is jazz, however, which she sings on occasion in Seattle area nightclubs.

Jeanne also enjoys making music in the studio, and recorded a collection of jazz standards a couple of years ago. The Classic Jazz Project spotlights her clear and powerfully emotive voice, and draws on the instrumental talent of some of the Seattle area's best studio musicians.
