Linda Jensen is a veteran voice-over, film and live theater
actress. She has seen it all in her 35+ years in live
theater – from the standard dropped lines to malfunctioning
props to accidental nudity to animals unexpectedly wandering
on stage. And she considers herself richer for each and
every such experience. Well, maybe not ALL of them, but most
of them. She loves children and animals – including snakes.
She is fluent in cat, and understands dog. And she collects
penguins. No, not the real ones, the kind you use to
decorate empty shelves.
Linda an experienced voice-over actress, and she has a wide
range of voice talent. She can talk like an old lady or a
voluptuous harlot. She can sound instructional, motherly,
friendly, sexy, inebriated, sunshiney or light. Her dialects
include British (from upper-class to Cockney) Southern, New
York and Jewish. Her voice-over credits include radio
commercials for Oak Barn Furniture; TV commercials for
Thomas Lincoln Dodge, Thomas Mercury and Nielson Appliances;
many Leap-Pad Books; a "Mom -o-Meter" key-chain, and the
cartoon video "Siliconites" on Honkworm.com.
She has appeared in a number of feature films, most recently
the independent film "Zombies of Mass Destruction" and
"Shadow Diaries Part 2." She was also in the SAG film
"Perfect Sport." She is SAG-eligible.
Linda has done television commercials for Home Alive, Sidney
Village and Crane Florist. She has appeared in corporate
videos for Market Pro and the U.S. Navy. Linda is a dynamic
public speaker as well, known for her quick wit and
contagious laughter. She also enjoys books, bad movies,
travel and old cemeteries.
She is a Washington native and a second-generation actor on
area stages. She has worked in all areas of theater: as an
actor, director and producer; in set design and
construction; lighting design; costume construction and
makeup; sound; and theater management. Linda has performed
in a range of theater styles, from comedy to drama to
musical comedy to the classics. She has worked in community
theater as well as in television commercials and film.
Numerous theaters and actors in the area know that if they
go to Linda for help in dealing with a wide range of issues,
both on stage and off, she will give them great advice. As
an actor, Linda is known for her great comedic timing.
Linda has also done a great deal of work with youth theater.
She has taught acting/drama in primary and secondary grades,
and was hired to direct plays for the Bremerton School
District. Linda has 19 years of experience doing after-hours
theater programs with youth. She was the major influence in
starting a youth theater program at a local community
theater.
All in all....Linda is a well "rounded" actress!
