Lisa Coronado realized she wanted to be an actor at the ripe age of 8 when cast as the brightest star in a campfire Christmas production. After that glorifying moment on stage it was almost impossible to get her off of it.

In high school Lisa joined the drama team where she participated in several productions including; “The Hobbit” (Balin), “Little Women” (Amy), “Romeo and Juliet” (Juliet), “Macbeth” (Lady Macbeth), and a very special play called “I Never Saw Another Butterfly” that was her first lead. The group traveled to other schools across the state to put this play on and it was the first time that acting really clicked for her. It was a very emotionally demanding role, especially for only being 17, that dealt with the Holocaust.

Since then, she has been involved in a several commercials, a sitcom, and many independent films, including a feature called “Cosmic Ray” which took best sci-fi film at the New York Independent Film Awards. It is currently being shown on www.youtube.com in an episodic form.

Lisa and her husband run their own business from home that not only allows her to be flexible with auditioning and filming, but has given her a good sense of how crucial it is to find professional, reliable, and talented people to work with. She treat every role, no matter how large or small, with the utmost dedication and importance.

In her free time she enjoys playing co-rec soccer with family and friends, traveling to the coast, reading and playing online scrabble.

“I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.”
