"Once
you set your sights on your goal, whether or not you achieve
it depends solely on your intent. How you get there really
doesn't matter. The joy comes from enjoying the journey."
Meeghan Black is currently a Meteorologist at KING 5
Television and co-host/producer of the very popular
"Gardening with Ciscoe" segments. You can also find her
occasionally reporting general news stories.
Meeghan began her career in television news after graduating
with honors from the University of Washington. She has won
numerous awards for her reporting work, including an Emmy
for her work on a KING 5 Mt. St. Helens special "Echoes of
the Eruption". Meeghan's career has sent her around the
world. Most notably she spent a month in Nagano, Japan
covering the 1998 Winter Olympics, was in Times Square New
York for the 2000 millennium celebration, and was right in
the thick of it during the WTO riots in Seattle.
