Shane made her television debut at the age of six as the spokesperson for Ennen's Foods Stores, starring in seven television commercials and lending her voice to three radio advertisements. Her love of performance art led her to the theater where she began as a makeup artist and costumer. With growing technical expertise under her belt Shane then began to lay strong foundations on stage where she starred in numerous community productions in her hometown of Bellingham, Washington.

In Los Angeles Shane completed her formal training in the arts of theater and film at Loyola Marymount University where she received a Fine Arts Scholarship. For four years she produced independent theater through the Del Rey Players in Santa Monica, and oversaw the completion of no less than fifteen student theater productions.

Her efforts on both sides of the stage have earned her a Floyd Award for Best Actress through Bellingham's Little Theater, a Cabaret Award for Best Actress through the Del Rey Players, and an additional Cabaret Award for Best Show for her direction of "A Shayana Maidel." In her love of all facets of performance and production, she has also worked in music videos, student films, performance instruction, and print work. Currently Shane continues her work in theater and film in Washington.

-- William Shakespeare
